Cooroy and Pomona Uniting Churches are proud supporters of the School Chaplaincy programs run in our local schools. 

Members of our congregations volunteer to help prepare and serve a healthy breakfast to students as a part of the weekly Chappy Breakfast program in the schools. The breakfast ministry is an initiative of the school chaplains in both Cooroy and Pomona State Schools and meets a need by providing a nutritional start to the day for many children whose morning program doesn’t allow for breakfast before arriving at school.

The Cooroy State School Chaplain is a welcome and valued member of the Cooroy congregation, ensuring that we stay up to date on the needs of this ministry, allowing us to not only support this vital ministry to the students and families in the area but also to provide ongoing support to the chaplains themselves.
